As Professor Farnsworth would say, "Eh, good news, everyone!" 

So our next review is taking a little longer than anticipated, but rest assured it has been filmed and is in the editing process. It's the energy required to sort through it all because I just came off a weekend full of celebrities and random battle groups. And apparently Scruffy the Pirate is a highly regarded persona when he gets introduced to the otaku public. (I mean "otaku" in a good way, so don't get offended by that term like some do.) That being said, here's my weekend-is-over update.



I acquired 2 new reviews to add to my queue. Both are comics, drawn by well-respected comic artists in the graphical world. Before I do those, I need to finish Freddy vs Jason by mid-week if I can, and then I need to get the Halloween episode put together before the 31st. After that, I was planning on doing a Top 7 list (top 10s are overrated, top 11 is already used by Nostalgia Critic), but I may postpone it for our next review material--COMICS! Yes, the Rude Dude character will switch over to the comic book world (all added into the Scruffy Saga storyline, mostly to remain consistent). First I will be reviewing "Bonnie Lass" by Michael Mayne and Tyler Fluharty, a series of 4 volumes about the daughter of a famous pirate who gets into all kinds of crazy shenanigans. The second one is "Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki" by Kittyhawk (aka Kara Jay), which is about "a transgendered magical girl" that ends up encountering some Norse gods. Sexy fun. Both of those should be fun to review, for sure.

The forums have been dead for awhile, but our Facebook page gained a bunch of new fans, thanks to Adamm's wife, so that's pretty cool. At least when I post something there, it gets noticed by someone. Either way, I'm sure once we get a stronger fan-base and we maybe branch our reviews out to other things like comics and anime (mostly done by Harmony when she returns--and she will), we can start gaining momentum into the new year.
